After Sydney, Seoul, Madrid, Hamburg, London and Kitzbühel, Budapest will be the next host of the competition which is also the final of the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Cup Series. The end of the series will be properly celebrated by colourful events and an amazing environment. Swimming will begin in the Lágymányosi Bay, which is a true green jewel box in the capital, and a favourite place to relax for families.

After that, competitors will have the opportunity to run and cycle in an environment, the panorama of which has been selected to be part of the UNECO World Heritage. Along the Danube embankment, they will pass by sights like Buda Castle, the Fishermen's Bastion, the Parliament and the Basilica, and they will finish the competition at the Chain Bridge.

The Aquathlon entry was closed yesterday and almost 500 athletes would participate in the competition. The American team arrived to Budapest together with the Italian, Australian, Spanish and Canadian team. 3500 athletes will compete during four days in the heart of Budapest."
