Man Massacres Family With Machete In Hungary
"A 24-year-old man murdered four members of his family and severely injured three others with a machete over three days last week, according to his confession to police.

Jutas Csanád Horvath told police that he killed the members of the family at various points of time within their house in Kulcs, Fejér county. He first stabbed his elder brother to death last Wednesday, attacked and killed two grandparents on Thursday and fatally stabbed his father on Friday.

He also injured three other family members on Friday.

His mother, his sister and his sister’s common-law husband were taken to hospital with critical or severe injuries.

Horváth told police that he did not regret his actions, adding “a killer instinct” awakened in him some months ago, and the members of his family became his deadly enemies.

After police were called on Friday Horváth hid out in a marshy area but was caught by police within a few hours.

National Police spokesman László Garamvölgyi said more than 135 police officers took part in the search for Horvath. An anti-terrorist unit joined them and eventually found Horvath, and he surrendered without resistance.

Horvath was himself injured, probably when committing the crimes.

Horváth has a degree in information technology. His sister Réka told the tabloid Bors that Horváth was addicted to computer games."
