British airline Jet2.com today announced further commitment to Hungary with the re-introduction of low fare flights from Budapest to Leeds Bradford (Yorkshire). Famous for its friendly service, allocated seats and 22kg baggage allowance – Jet2.com’s low fares to Leeds Bradford, plus existing destinations Edinburgh, Manchester and East Midlands are now available for travel through to November 2014.

From next April, Leeds Bradford will be added to the airline’s growing programme from Budapest Airport. The additional flights mean Jet2.com will serve more UK destinations directly than any other airline. The Leeds Bradford route will make it even easier for business and leisure customers to travel to Yorkshire and the popular British cities of Leeds, Bradford and Sheffield.

Steve Heapy, Chief Executive of Jet2.com, said: “We are pleased to announce the
return of flights to Leeds Bradford – a popular destination amongst our loyal Hungarian customers. Leeds Bradford is gateway to the biggest region in the UK, Yorkshire – which hosts Tour de France’s Le Grand Depart in 2014. I’m confident this addition to our growing Budapest programme is going to be yet another roaring success.”

Kam Jandu, Director of Aviation Budapest Airport said: “We are delighted to welcome Jet2.com back on the Leeds Bradford route. As the only direct connection to the important Yorkshire area, we have no doubt that the route will be very successful for both inbound and outbound travellers.”

Jet2.com flights to the UK are available for immediate booking on the airline’s Hungarian website www.jet2.com.
