Minimum Wage In Hungary To Rise Above Ft 101,500
The minimum monthly wage is set to rise by 3.6% next year to Ft 101,500, outpacing inflation, as agreed by employee and employers groups in the Government Standing Consultation Forum, state secretary Sándor Czomba announced.

The minimum wage for skilled workers will increase by 3.5% to Ft 118,000. This compromise allows real wages to rise while preserving and adding jobs, Czomba said.

The parties sealed a deal quickly because the government had threatened to set the minimum wage if no agreement was reached, Napi Gazdaság writes.
