Ferris Wheel On Budapest Erzsébet Tér Set To Reopen Soon
- 23 May 2014 9:00 AM
The transportable Sziget Eye giant (65 metre high) Ferris wheel, which is even bigger this year, will be once again set up in central Budapest’s Erzsébet tér. Workers have already started the wheel construction last weekend. It features 42 closed air-conditioned cabins that can each hold up to 8 people. The cabins are perfectly sound-proof due to its electromagnetic system. A full revolution takes 10 minutes.
Unlike last year, the observation wheel will stay in Erzsébet tér until September and there will be another, smaller Ferris wheel available at Sziget Festival in August.
