Xpat Opinion: Photo Review Of Iguana Restaurant In Budapest
I first came to Budapest twenty years ago, when the city was not as full of international bars and restaurants as it is now. Soon after I arrived Iguana popped up, alive with colour, flavour, and full of fun.

The weekends were party nights, a roller coaster of the senses, great food, fabulous cocktails and wonderful staff. You just did not want to go home …and sometimes we didn’t!

As time moved on, Budapest has seen its fair share of changes on the bar, club, and restaurant scene. Now there is everything from open-air bars, to rooftop and ruin bars and limousines and beer bikes.

But one thing has remained consistent: Iguana. And they got it right from the beginning. The décor still feels fresh and has stood the test of time without looking dated or uncool, just as I remembered it all those years, tears, and beers ago!
