Video: Another Demo Against Internet Tax Set For Tonight
By late last night, more than 44,000 people had already confirmed plans on Facebook to participate in a demonstration at 6 p.m. at József Nádor tér tonight – in what is to be the week's second demonstration against the government's proposed internet tax.

The organizers of Sunday's demonstration, which drew an estimated 40,000 to a march down Andrássy út, have called for this second demonstration, as they promised they would if the government failed to cancel plans for an internet tax. At their first demonstration on Sunday, organizers gave members of the ruling Fidesz party 48 hours to cancel the proposal of internet tax.

Instead Fidesz modified the amendment yesterday, putting a cap on the tax at HUF 700 per user per month.

This demonstration is to start at 6 p.m. in the same place as Sunday's demo, József Nádor tér in Dirstrict V., but this time plans call for marching to Kossuth Lajos tér, in front of the Parliament building.

The organizers posted a video in call for demonstrators to gather. The man in the video says: "On Sunday masses gathered to demand the full cancellation of the internet tax proposal. Apparently, the government did not hear us. Thus, come again and let us meet at 6pm on József Nádor tér. The more people come the better."
