Musashi Hungary Expands Product Range
Musashi Hungary, the Hungarian manufacturing unit of Japanese vehicle parts maker Musashi, has signed a new supplier contract and will produce differentials from 2017 through a 4 million euro investment, managing director András Nagy said.

The manufacturer expects to have capacity to make one million differentials a year by the end of the decade.

The differentials will be sold to BMW. Previously this year, Musashi Hungary has signed supply contracts worth around 110 million euros with Audi, Jaguar and Honda.

Musashi has a factory in Ercsi (C Hungary), employing 180 workers. 95% of its production is exported abroad, mainly to Germany and the United Kingdom.

The company had revenue of 40.5 million euros in 2013 and expects to have 42.5 million euros this year.
