Govt To Set Up National Tourism Agency
The government will set up a National Tourism Agency as part of an effort to create an efficient, modern, wellfunctioning institutional system to support the development of the tourism sector, state secretary Bence Tuzson said.

With the establishment of the agency, touristic organisation, training and country marketing will be put under one roof, he said at the Budapest Tourism 2020 conference.

Centralisation efforts could support the formation of a unified country image and lift the tourism sector’s contribution to GDP to 12-15%, similar to Hungary’s “competitors”, Tuzson said.
