Killswitch Engage @ Budapest Park, 14 June
Killswitch Engage, Architects, August Burs Red, Atreyu and Bury Tomorrow join forces to destroy the stage of Budapest Park from 16.30 until 23.00 pm.

One of the event’s most favoured band is Architects all the way from Brighton. They have already proved themselves to be one of the best live acts, who have ever visited Hungary. Their latest album Lost Forever // Lost Together was a homecoming to their hard hitting metal roots.

The American August Burns Red fused melodic and technical guitar riffs with insane breakdowns to create their indistinguishable sound. The Pennsylvanian quintet got their first - well deserved - Grammy nomination for the song ’Identity’ from their 7th album ’Found in Far Away Places’.

And obviously if you talk about metalcore you can not neglect the beasts from Wetfield, Killswitch Engage. Formed from the shreds of Overcast and Aftershock, the band is considered to be one of the pioneers of the genre. Their songs despite the heavy guitar riffs and hard hitting drums are based around amazing melodies and clean vocals, a perfect hybrid of Metal and Hardcore. Besides their new material from their most recent album Incarnate, we can surely expect their most famous hit songs such as ’ Temple From The Within’, ’My Last Serenade’ and My Curse.

The night will be warmed up by no other than the newly re-established Atreyu, who were also an important part of the metalcore scene in the 2000s, and inspired by bands like Pantera, Arch Enemy, In Flames and Soilwork. Bury Tomorrow will represent the younger generation, with their fourth album ’Earthbound’, which they will release in January.

Venue: Budapest Park
1095 Budapest, Soroksári út 60.
