New Highway Code May Force Drivers To Retake Exam
- 19 Jul 2016 9:00 AM
As work on Hungary’s new and simpler highway code is expected to reach its end soon, drivers who already hold licenses could be required to pass a new exam, Hungarian online daily origo.hu reported today.
Daily Magyar Nemzet reported that work on the new code has been ongoing for four years.
According to Péter Kozma, a lawyer specializing in transport, there is a possibility that everybody will have to pass the exam, even those who are already driving with a license.
The lawyer added that this could prove costly for Hungarian drivers, origo.hu reported.
