Protest Against Római Dam
Some 2,000-3,000 people participated in a demonstration on Sunday against the mobile dam planned for the Római Párt recreational area in Budapest’s Third District.

The protesters gathered at the riverside site to declare that they consider the dam ineffective in protecting people but efficient in cutting trees.

According to Dialogue MEP Benedek Jávor, the city of Budapest is only insisting on the mobile dam project so that it can engage in fraud related to property development, Index reports.
