Czibere: New Scheme To Feed 4,000 Homeless Over Four Years
Four thousand homeless will receive hot food on weekdays over the next four years with the help of a new scheme to be financed from European Union and Hungarian resources, the state secretary in charge of social affairs and inclusion said on Thursday.

Under the scheme, a total of 4 billion forints (EUR 12.9m) will be made available to institutions helping the homeless, Károly Czibere told a press conference held together with Andriana Sukova-Tosheva, head of the European Commission’s Directorate- General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion.

After the press conference, they helped distribute food at a monthly event in Budapest’s 6th district organised by the Public Foundation for the Homeless in conjunction with other partners.
