PM's Advisor Habony Could Acquire Radio Station
Prime ministerial advisor Árpád Habony and his business associates have been working for some time on acquiring Sláger FM, Hungary’s most popular radio station, Magyar Nemzet has learned from several sources.

Habony and his associates had originally hoped to seal the deal by now but the negotiations became deadlocked as the would-be buyers simply offered too little for the station.

The present owner of the station is Tematic Media Group, owned by Oradea-based businessman Radu Morar.

He told Magyar Nemzet that the sale of Sláger is not on the agenda, but added that, as a businessman, he advocates the principle that anything can be sold for the right amount of money, but nobody has so far offered that sum for the radio station.
