Hungarian Deputy PM Opened Chinese Health Conference In Budapest
Hungary is dedicated to cooperation with China and wants to become the engine for cooperation between China and central and eastern Europe in health care, deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén said on Monday. Semjén opened a professional conference of health ministers from central and eastern Europe and China in Budapest.

It is high time that existing cooperation in the areas of finance and trade is expanded to include health care and health economy, he said. Hungary wants to play an active role in facilitating this process, he added.

The conference demonstrates that Hungary’s performance in health care is internationally recognised and Hungary shows a useful example to other countries, he said in his opening address. Human Resources Minister Zoltán Balog said the future lies in cooperation between East and West and it is impossible to think about the future without China.
