FINA Aquatic Champs To Close With Circus Show, 30 July
The 17th FINA World Championships has announced it will celebrate watersports and sportspeople in a contemporary circus and dance show on July 30 in the Papp László Sport Arena as part of the closing ceremony of the event, according to a press statement sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

The closing ceremony, bringing together more than 200 artists, is directed by Bence Vági, the founder and artistic director of the internationally renowned Recirquel Company Budapest.

Performers of the show - featuring nearly 80 artists and more than 50 dancers - are drawn from 18 countries. The closing ceremony is open to all free of charge, but seat reservation is necessary.

“We do not intend to reveal all the details of the show, but I have to admit the audience will be part of an unforgettable experience. A three-story high set and a monumental puppet will appear on stage.

For the spectacular lights, 600 lamps, and for the safety of the artists there is a hyper intelligent aerial rigging equipment operated by 13 motors,” said Vági.

Seats for the closing ceremony can be reserved from today.

It will also be broadcast live on the M4 TV Channel on July 30 at 10 p.m.
