This is not an average 4* in Bangkok, as proven by a range of recent accolades. In 2016 it was awarded TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence, and won the Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards in four categories including: Best 4-Star Hotel, Concierge Excellence, Housekeeping Excellence, and Service Excellence.

The General Manager, Peter Nicholas Lucas, points out it’s not just awards that count but also that locals and expats appreciate the quality and value. “The property has become the ‘go to’ hotel and holds the majority of the city’s social and networking events, including various Chambers of Commerce, sporting events and hobbyist groups like the Bangkok Salsa Latin community,” he said.

The hotel’s enjoyable Irish pub, The Drunken Leprechaun, placed a respectable third in TripAdvisor’s ranking of Bangkok’s best pubs and bars in 2016. Mr. Lucas adds that this pubic house at the entrance of the hotel is to be awarded Bangkok’s top chain restaurant in 2017.

The Eatery, located on the ground floor inside the hotel, is an all-day dining restaurant, featuring a first-class breakfast buffet, and à la carte menu. Quality, satisfaction and variety are key elements at The Eatery, with an emphasis on fresh and healthy, and the concept realy works. 24-hour in-room dining service is also available, oh and Hooters is located next door...

Anyway, the breakfast buffet rightly deserves a delicious mention here, as it features a wide variety of fresh seasonal fruit, cereals and yoghurts, a great selection of hot favorites, plus 'Four Points signature breakfast items' such as apple brioche loaf, chiffon cake, egg noodle tarts and a grilled panini station, plus much more. Also, if you want you can enjoy breakfast 'your way' with a selection from the à la carte breakfast menu - there’s really something truly tasty for everybody.


Room options also ensure there's something to suit every guest's taste, ranging from 'Comfortable', 'Deluxe and 'Premium' rooms, to four types of suites: Junior, Executive (above), Terrace (below), and Presidential.


The hotel features 268 rooms in total, all furnished with 'Four Points by Sheraton Comfort Beds', a well-designed spacious workspace with executive chair, a Plug & Play station, and an easy view of the 32-inch LCD television. Comp tea, coffee, and bottled water are also offered.


Extra comfy rooms are located in the Garden Wing and Pool Wing, and include a king bed or two queen beds, alternatively you could treat yourself a little better with a Premium room - which is where we stayed.


Complimentary WiFi is provided throughout the hotel, and in every room and suite. The Junior Suite (pictured above) is a plush choice with a cozy ambience and inviting amenities, offering a studio-style open design with a two-seat couch and an oversized bathroom. Executive suites provide a spacious modern living room, a separate king bedroom, a convenient guest powder room, and in the bathroom a jacuzzi overlooks the bedroom.

On top of the hotel is a rooftop swimming pool with a great view of the city. Other facilities include a 24-hour fitness center, and free services at the Business Center. Also up top there is amBar, an open air venue with a hip lounge-bar vibe, perfect for sunset snacks and cocktails.

Going out is easy as it's a short walk to Asok BTS and MRT stations, and only 5 minutes by Tuk Tuk to Soi 11 which has fabulous restaurants, bars and nightlife. The hotel even has a free Tuk Tuk service which takes you around the outstanding Sukhumvit area.

In summary, if you believe ’location, location, location' and value are key then this place is ideal. It's uncomplicated; stylish, and comfortable – the type of place where you can really be yourself. It does the basics very well and adds little indulgences to make guests feel great, right in the heart of this exotically hot and exciting city.

Getting there & around
The hotel is close to both Asoke Skytrain Station and Sukhumvit Subway Station, making it easy to get there and allowing fast access to much of Bangkok during your stay. For example it's just one stop from the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, and two stops from the major shopping and entertainment districts.
