Festivity At The Britannica Christmas Fair
Britannica International School, Budapest organised its annual holiday market - Brilliant Britannica- last Friday. There was an amazing array of stalls packed by our students' homemade crafts available for sale. From cards and Christmas decorations to snow globes and vases, tasty treats and Christmas carols, the students had created the perfect crafty gifts and seasonal trinkets.

Throughout the afternoon, there was a fantastic atmosphere, with everyone pitching in to raise money for charitable causes, while having great fun along the way.

As a Year 7 student commented: "One of the best events of the year! I crafted postcards with my classmates and then we sold them very quickly. Next year we will double the amount to raise. And the hot chocolate was very tasty again!"

The PSA (Parents and Staff Association) along with the teachers and staff have worked very hard in the last months to bring this event to life, which it certainly did with great success on Friday.

As Brilliant Britannica raises funds for a charity every year, the school has this year supported Dévény Charity Foundation, a local children's charity in District 12.
