Wage Rise For Ambulance Service Employees From Jan
The wages of employees at the National Ambulance Service are set to rise by 10% from January, the Human Resources Ministry said in a statement. The rise comes after a 12% increase in 2017 for ambulance drivers, nurses and navigators, the statement noted.

The current measure will also entail the administrative staff and manual workers, it said.

“The government views the National Ambulance Service’s continued development as of great importance and works to constantly improve the financial and moral value of the profession,” the statement said.

In addition, the support of the daily work and professional development of ambulance workers as well as the improvement of the working environment aims to improve the physical and mental health of employees and the social prestige of the profession, the statement said.
