Hungary Wins First Ever Gold In Winter Olympics
The Hungarian short-track speed skating team composed of Csaba Burján, Viktor Knoch, Liu Shaoang and Sandor Liu Shaolin won the first gold medal for Hungary in a Winter Olympics by triumphing in the men’s 5,000-metre relay final in Pyeongchang on Thursday.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán thanked the members of the team for their “historic achievement” winning a gold medal at the Winter Olympics. On his Facebook page he posted the message: “Grateful for living to see this day! Go Hungarians!” accompanied by a link to a news report on m4sport.hu about the victory.
