József Tichy-Rács told Euronews exactly what inspired him to don a chicken suit and enter April's political race. 

Why? "I think people in Hungary have lost trust in human politicians, so it's reasonable to assume they'll trust a chicken or a dog," he told Euronews.

"We are the most serious party in the history of Hungarian politics," continued the chicken candidate...

The independent candidate's "Two-tailed Dog Party" also has candidates running dressed as a gorilla and Father Christmas.
