'March For Life' To Be Held This Sunday
“Come and show how beautiful the world is when colourful” is this year’s slogan for the annual March for Life, which pays tribute to the victims of the Holocaust.

The march will depart from Március 15. tér at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 13 from the March for Life statue.

The participants will proceed via Erzsébet híd to the Friedrich Born road, the March for Life foundation’s chairman of the board of trustees Gábor Gordon said at a press conference on Wednesday.

Friedrich Born helped rescue nearly 15,000 Hungarian Jews from deportation by building hospitals, childcare homes, homes for orphans and soup kitchens and by issuing safe passage permits from May 1944 to June 1945, commissioned by the Red Cross.
