Beer Bikes Banned From 14th District
Beer bikes will be banned from the 14th District from July 1, just like in the Fifth District, the mayor’s office announced on Thursday.

The office said that drunk people have embarrassed families, disturbed those walking dogs, as well as people having a picnic, and elicited an outcry from those wanting to rest. Beer bikes also represent a continuous threat to others taking part in traffic, it added.

The councillors unanimously decided at mayor Gergely Karácsony’s proposal to declare the use of beer bikes as anti-social behaviour and to fine those who consume alcoholic beverages on vehicles driven by more than two people.
