Hungary on Monday decided to block certain Ukrainian news portals as a reciprocal response to a similar move by Ukraine, the head of the Prime Minister’s Office said on Monday.
Recent changes to Hungarian law give reason for concern, the European Union's commissioner for justice, democracy, and the rule of law said in Strasbourg on Wednesday, adding that "the so-called child protection law breaches EU law on a number of accounts".
The opposition Democratic Coalition will sue the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister for access to data, to reveal "how much money has been burnt on the anti-Ukraine campaign", the party group's spokesperson said,
A Budapest visit by the European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) "is part of a pact" between opposition Tisza Party and Brussels, an official of the ministry of EU affairs said on Wednesday, adding that Brussels wants to have a puppet government to lead Hungary.
