Sziget Festival Receives New Eco Honour
Budapest's Sziget Festival received a special decoration for its efforts in the field of environmental protection at the 'Greener Festival Awards' held in Holland last Sunday.

“We can save the world, if we get together; we will save the world if we get together” Goodall said at the festival. Sziget's ‘Love Revolution’ in 2019 had a strong focus on environmental consciousness and sustainable development.

The European Festival Federation confirmed that Sziget Festival had placed “commendable” emphasis on making a low environmental impact in key areas such as water consumption, transportation and ecosystem protection.

This year, 37 festivals in 15 countries were honoured for their commitments to sustainability.

In case you didn't make it to Sziget last year, here's a quick vid about what went on.
