Coronavirus: Active Cases Stand At  22,482 With 11 New Deaths In Hungary
905 new cases were confirmed. The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 31,480. The number of deaths stands at 833, while the number of those recovered now stands at 8,165.

22,482 is the number of active infected, 649 patients are hospitalized, 40 of them are on ventilators.

We are in the second wave of the epidemic,  the number of active infections is rising, so it is very important to maintain discipline.

People should continue to strictly observe the rules because “the disease is everywhere and anyone could contract it”, says Cecília Müller, chief medical officer.

It is suggested to continue avoiding crowded indoor places, keep the suggested 1,5 meter distance, wash hands often and thoroughly.

In addition to shops and public transport, the use of the mask is mandatory in cinemas, theaters, health and social institutions, and customer reception offices. Clubs will have to close by 11pm.

Anyone with symptoms should not go to community, friends, family and other meetings, but stay home and notify their GP by phone.
