State Buys Hundreds Of Electric Cars For Hungarian Hospitals
The state health care supplier centre ÁEEK has purchased 249 electric cars for hospitals for Ft 3 billion, head of the institution Miklós Gondos announced on Wednesday.

The electric cars were purchased for the hospital of Nyíregyháza in NE Hungary, among others.

The installation of 135 charging stations is underway, he said, adding that hospitals have to pay the operating costs of the vehicles, including insurance fees.

The cars bought may run for 200km on one charge.

The government aims to increase the number of electric cars in the government car fleet to 30% by 2030, Portfolio underlined.
