Hungary To Revamp Hygiene Infrastructure In 17 Budapest Hospitals
The government has allocated 60 billion forints (EUR 170m) from European Union and local resources to revamp 17 Budapest hospitals to improve hygiene infrastructure in preparation of a potential second wave of the novel coronavirus epidemic, the human resources minister said.

The revamp will affect all hospital premises used by patients and will involve remodelling surfaces, installing automatic bathroom fittings and developing the general infrastructure, he said.

Preliminary assessments have been carried out and the concrete tasks will be discussed with hospital directors in the next few days, he added.
