Hungarian Hotels Upset About Extra Check-In Admin
Due to a regulation that came into force on September 1, accommodation providers not only have to report the personal data of their guests to authorities but also have to scan their ID, creating excessive administrative work, hotels complained to RTL Klub.

If the guest does not have the required document, he or she must be denied accommodation.

Accommodation providers have launched a petition on the internet asking authorities for a simpler regulation.

According to the government, there is no need to change the law, RTL Klub reports.
