La Pescheria is located downtown on Alkotmány utca close to Bajcsy-Zsilinszky ut, and this well stocked shop receives fresh fish and seafood straight from the Mediterranean sea at least twice per week (usually on Tuesdays and Fridays).

Here the fish counter in the main focus, with a large aquarium by the shop window displaying the live lobsters, crabs, and oysters for sale. Also a deli counter lines up Italian specialties such as fresh pasta, mortadella, and packaged seafood delights.

It's worth noting that none of the products here come from the deep-freeze, and all the delicacies purchased are put into shopping bags with ice to keep them perfectly fresh as you journey home.
