Free Entry: New Planet Budapest Expo Now Open
Former President János Áder opened the Planet Budapest 2023 sustainability expo on Wednesday. Climate change, water crises, diminishing bio-diversity, the exhaustion of arable land and deforestation were “the big, enduring, common stress situations of mankind”, Áder, the event’s founder and chief patron, said in his opening address, adding that the situation was unprecedented.

“We must find different forms of adaptation,” he said.

The expo, the largest international sustainability event in central Europe, runs until Oct. 1.

The event is free and can be visited without registration.

Exceptions are the conferences and workshops of Planet Expo, as well as the programs of Heroes of the Future, which require prior registration.

Your Planet:

An experience program that is also unique on a European level, developed by Hungarian creative and scientific experts, and whose visuals and complexity have not been seen here before, where visitors can gain an insight into the everyday life of a sustainable future.

Heroes of the Future:

An interactive program, a fascinating movie experience and a professional escape room in one, for classes and groups of young people aged 8-16, who can experience how effective collaboration shapes the future.

Planet Expo: 27 September - 1 October, Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00

Heroes of the Future: 25 September - 1 October, Monday to Sunday 09:00 - 18:00

Notes:
The event is open to the public, video and audio recordings are made and may be published.
Only card payments are possible in the buffets, the event is cash-free.
