Job Fairs for Teachers on Tour in Hungary
A nationwide series of events presenting job opportunities for future teachers has been launched with the participation of nine higher education institutions that provide teacher training, according to hrportal.hu.

Deputy State Secretary for Public Education Katalin Balatoni of the Ministry of the Interior told Kossuth Rádió the first such event took place in Szeged (175 km southeast of Budapest) last week.

The series will continue next Wednesday in Debrecen (225 km east of Budapest) and the following week in Budapest, at the Loránd Eötvös University. The public, private, church and municipal events will visit eight more locations in the fall.

"The goal is to connect future employees with the maintainers of educational institutions, to strengthen them in the fact that we count on them, their knowledge, their sense of responsibility, and their sense of professionalism," emphasized Balatoni.
