Tornado Wreaks Havoc in Hungary's Vas County
A rare tornado was part of a severe storm that struck Vas county in western Hungary on Monday afternoon.

Residents of the town of Narda described the storm as a nightmare, with hail accompanying the tornado.

The aftermath left homes, cars, and outbuildings damaged, with ancient walnut trees uprooted.

The roofs of more than 30 buildings were damaged by hail and strong winds.

Storms also inflicted significant destruction in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county.

The full extent of the damage is yet to be determined.
