Chinatown Terasz, as it's known locally, is one of the most vibrant outdoor dining scenes in Budapest during summer time, offering hundreds of Asian dishes ranging from Chinese BBQ, dim sum and wok dishes. There are authentic drinks too like Chinese beer, bubble tea, and more.  

This year marks its 12th anniversary, and just like in previous years many cultural and entertainment programs will be held over summer. Also, if you share pictures / videos about it and “check-in” your location (@ChinatownBudapest) on your Facebook /Instagram, you will get a chance to win 30,000 forint coupons. A “draw” announcing 4 winners will be made every month.

How is this year's food market different?

Wang Mester and InTown Hotpot, two of Budapest’s most well-known Chinese restaurants have become new members of #ChinatownTerasz - they add about 20 new dishes to the overall menu.

A new audio system has been installed under the “big tent” so that you can enjoy an exotic vibe while you enjoy the food. Also, you will see different decorations around during upcoming Chinese festivals, the UEFA Euro 2024 and Paris Olympics.
