Party Venue Budapest Park to Transform Into Ice Rink
Budapest Park recently closed a successful 2025 party period, and will reopen as an ice rink soon. The fourteenth season's visitor numbers reached almost 670,000, which is 7 percent more than last year.

This year, more foreign stars than ever took to the stage at Budapest Park, including Alanis Morissette and Will Smith, and almost the entire Hungarian top list gave concerts, the organisers informed MTI.

In 2025, 92 program days were held in Budapest Park, and not only the number of visitors but also the number of sold-out concerts increased: 25 nights were sold-out, which is a 25 percent increase compared to last year.

During this year's party season, fans were able to experience numerous show elements designed specifically for the Budapest Park stage.

At the VHK concert, the audience was overwhelmed by stilt-legged slingers, Dzsúdló flew over the audience with a crane, at the Beton.Hofi concert, Uncle Gabi Fűzy, the oldest bar pianist in our country, joined the Citromale gang, Krúbi flew over the heads in a boat.

Also this year, a UFO emerged from four hundred drones at the Will Smith concert, and astronaut Tibor Kapu jumped in to play guitar at the Bagossy Brothers Company concert.

The visuals of parties there have been further improved, and international DJs are increasingly appearing behind the turntables.

Visitors could enjoy their evenings there which held more than two hundred different parties, featuring a wide variety of styles, from downtempo to drum & bass, from 'brain rot' to dance house.

In addition to the programs, social responsibility also plays a central role in the operation of Budapest Park.

"While trying to set a good example, we review our safety measures and processes every year. We have introduced a guest counting system that is visible to guests and have transformed our entire safety communication.

We have also produced an educational video on safe entertainment, in this educational yet entertaining short film, we draw the attention of partygoers to some useful information with the participation of musicians.

We know that for many this may be their first concert experience, which is why it is important that they are aware of where they can ask for help, what to look out for and how they can support each other
," the announcement quoted András Pálffy, founder of Budapest Park.

This year, the venue also drew attention to the work of several important foundations. They focused on the mental health programs of the SOS Children's Villages, and collected donations for the organization in various ways, totaling approximately 4 million forints.

They also offered meet & greet tickets for the concerts of four performers (Follow The Flow, Bohemian Betyars+Parno Graszt, Honeybeast), with the total net proceeds of which, 944 thousand 851 forints, were used to support the selected civil organizations (SOS Children's Villages, Piros Orr Clown Doctors, Mosoly Foundation) together with the productions.

Budapest Park is already working on the program for its jubilee, fifteenth season. The opening will be on April 23, 2026, and the Csinibaba Dance Song Festival, a joint program with the Katona József Theater, will return, this time taking you back to the era of the regime change.

The skating rink at Budapest Park will open by December 1st, and KoriPark, Park FM, and the site's online radio will be available all year round.
