In addition to a national cheese competition, domestic cheese makers and interested parties can participate in a professional conference, and then a public cheese fair at the three-day event.

According to the press announcement, 125 products were entered into the national cheese competition by Hungarian and Transylvanian cheese makers. The judging of the cheeses and dairy products will be held on Thursday.

On Friday, in addition to professional lectures, those interested will also be introduced to the history of Hungarian cheesemaking. The roundtable discussion will discuss, among other things, how to turn cheese into a market success.

The roundtable discussion will be led by Kálmán Reményik (Vászolyi Cheese Factory), and the invited guests will be András Wolf (CER Group executive chef), András Gódor (A Sonkás és A Sajtos) and Tamás Sven Rauf (Gastrokibic).

The professional day will conclude with the announcement of the results of the 13th Hungarian Cheese Competition. 

After the awards ceremony, the country's 'cheese table' will be inaugurated. Those interested can also taste Hungary's best cheeses there.

The festival will end with a cheese fair on October 4th in the main square of Martonvásár.
