Boglart Festival by Balaton to Feature International Performers & Family Programs
Twenty performers, including Croatian, Chilean and Senegalese musicians, will take to the stage at the Boglart festival and camp. The programs will take place from August 27 to 30 at the Babel Camp in Balatonboglár.

Boglart, now in its sixth year, is aimed at lovers of folk and world music, and is a festival that combines folk music courses and a music industry forum, where the emphasis is on music learning in addition to concerts. This year, they are also preparing several family programs, the organizers told MTI.

This year's event will be joined by the Promotheus team, which will hold interactive presentations under the slogans "community, knowledge, transformation" and provide children and their parents with craft activities. In addition, a kindergarten teacher will ensure that the little ones are in a 'safe and knowledgeable environment'.

Among the twenty performers will be the Estonian-Belgian-Danish Alterne, the German Akleja, the Senegalese Afrikora, the Chilean Cimbalom Guachaca and the Croatian Veja.

The Hungarian scene will be represented by Pontos, Pásztorhóra, Kaptza, Ysra, Wolfolks, Trio Playadito, Rézeleje Fanfárosok, Budapest Folk Duo, Amaro Duho, Okos Viola, Obadu, Zajnal, Puli and the Roma Big Band, composed of students from the Szimfolk Music Workshop in Arló.

On the closing day, Góbé, who dreamed up Boglart, will also take the stage; Kaptza will be the resident band of the dance fest that will last until dawn.

In the folk music camp, visitors can learn Moldavian and Hungarian melodies, and the teachers are often from the performing bands.

In addition, the festival will be complemented by a showcase this year, where the bands can meet international and local experts.
