    Registrations Are Open For The V4 Regional Esports Festival

    From the organisers: Registration is open for the first word-class, international Hungarian esports tournament where players from Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia may enter alone or with a team in four different esports titles - League of Legends, Counter-strike: Global Offensive, Clash Royale and FIFA18 - at the V4 Future Sports Festival, which has a total prize pool of EUR 1 million. The tournament, for which entry is free of charge, is hosted by Egymillióan a magyar esportért Egyesület with support from the Hungarian Digital Welfare Programme and runs from 23-25 March.

    Hurdle runner Balázs Baji and world champion swimmer Katinka Hosszú have been elected Hungary’s Athletes of the Year by the country’s sports journalists. Baji won a gold medal at the Taipei Universiade and a bronze at the London track and field world championship.

    'Zúzmara Winter Half Marathon', Hungexpo Budapest, 14 January

    Runners are going to gather for the third time at the Hungexpo premises to run a half marathon in the middle of winter. Race starts at 10am, while from 1:45pm participants can challenge themselves over a 10 km or a 5 km distance during the Running Festival, happening at the same place in the afternoon hours.
