The Nonprofit Enterprise and Self-sustainability Team (NESsT) is seeking an Office Assistant (OA) for its CE office in Budapest, Hungary. This will be a part-time position (15 per week), reporting to the Enterprise Development Director in Budapest. The OA will participate in the smooth running of a small, dynamic office on a day-to-day basis and will provide general administrative support for the implementation of NESsTs core programs and other special projects.
Responsibilities:
Appointment scheduling
Telephone/reception;
Making photocopies, managing office supplies and infrastructure, running errands outside the office (post office, etc)
Maintaining the CE contact database
Assisting in the management of the filing system
Assisting in the maintenance of office technology: systems and equipment
Assisting in event organization
Translations and internet research to assist in general program outreach efforts
Qualifications:
Fluency in both English and Hungarian required (any additional CEE language a plus)
Strong PC skills, command of Microsoft Excel and experience in Microsoft Office
University degree obtained or in progress or equivalent work experience (knowledge of nonprofits a plus)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Position start date: second half of July 2008
