I am looking for a part-time roommate who owns his/her own flat in or very near the city center of Budapest, and who has a spare bedroom (medium-large size) that I can rent while I am in town. I expect to be in Budapest for 2-3 months at a time, then out of town for 2-3 months at a time. Since I am retired and on a fixed income, I would hope to pay about 30,000 HUF or so per month while in Budapest (and, of course, half of the utilities) and a small retainer while I am away, say about 10,000 or so HUF per month, to keep my room and store my things. I do not have a lot of stuff, two large suitcases of clothing and a few boxes of other items. I have lived in Budapest since 1999, and now want to travel more, but still wish to have a base here.
