Excursions, sightseeing and other programs I am organizing excursions to the hills around Budapest, on beautiful routes. There are usually 10-40 participants, most of them are aged 20-40, and some of them are expats. Almost all of the participants speak English, and they are happy to meet other people and make new friends and talk to people from other countries. The excursions are good physical excercise and we also have a lot of fun. We usually walk 12-18 km, and I usually try to choose a not too difficult route. Here are some photos on the excursions (the text is in Hungarian, but the photos speak for themselves): http://w3.enternet.hu/gmarx/kirandulasok2 I also organize Budapest sightseeings - I show a part of Budapest in 2-3 hours. I also plan other programs, for example visits to interesting buildings, museums, caves, botanic gardens, statue parts, castles, palaces, churches, synagogues and more. I do not ask and I do not accept any money for these programs. They are free, except for public transportation tickets and entrance fees. If you are interested in these programs, please contact me by clicking the link below. Click here to contact Gabor Marx |

BUDADOGS Dear all, I am sure many of you love animals and would like to share with you a project I am volunteering on. 3 Vet students have set up a project called Budadogs - where they rescue dogs from the city pound on the euthanasia list (www.illatosut.hu), find a foster home for them and eventually re-home them abroad (mostly to Scandinavia). The dogs in the pound are healthy and make perfect family pets with a bit of love and kindness. The more foster homes we can find, the more dogs can be rescued - please check out the Budadogs site - http://bricksite.com/budadogs http://budadogs.blogspot.com/ Finally, if you are interesting in adopting a dog or cat please check out this site made by a local animal lover, with all the dogs and cats for adoption in the country divided by breed - http://allatok.info/?language=en If you are interested in fostering a dog or help in any way - please contact me directly : Natasha - 06703809988 or email xxnatashaxx@hotmail.com Thank you for all the kind help and look forward to hearing from some of you! Phone: 8012063 NOTE : we urgently need foster homes during the Christmas holidays for a short period!! Click here to contact |
