The Cordelia Foundation, which provides counseling services for victims of torture and abuse, held a fundraiser cruise on the Europa. The evening featured wine, food, and live music from the Budapest Klezmer Band.

Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research Foundation in Hungary
Each September this non-profit organization holds its annual Terry Fox Run on Margit Island in Budapest, Hungary.
Since 1997 they have raised HUF 97.3 million (EUR 391,000) for cancer research in Hungary. All money raised is donated to selected Hungarian research doctors for the purchase of capital equipment.
