|
The British Ambassador and Mrs John Nichols invited 100's of VIP guests on 8th June 2005 to celebrate the official birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. HM The Queen was actually born on the 21st of April 1926. HM QE II is the world's second longest reigning Monarch, now serving her country for over half a century.
HMA John Nichols gave a warm welcome to all, he gave special thanks to his wife for her support in organising such a successful event, and thanked the various sponsors who contributed to the memorable occasion, including Tesco for drinks, and Saga Food for nibbles. The Royal Air Force band played the national anthem of Hungary with gusto which followed a hearty rendition of "God save the Queen".
