Blair in Hungary for EU budget diplomacy drive |
 "Tony Blair is in Hungary for talks on the EU budget on Friday, as diplomats said poorer newcomers to the bloc may agree to a reduction in aid but not to as big a cut as the prime minister has proposed.
Leaders of the four biggest newcomers -- Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia -- are meeting Blair in Budapest ahead of the deadline looming in mid-December for the long-term budget to be approved."Source: reuters.co.uk
