Now Showing in Budapest: 'Halloween'

Now Showing in Budapest: 'Halloween'
”An entirely new take on the highly successful and terrifying Halloween legacy that began in 1978. While revealing a new chapter in the established Michael Myers saga, the film will surprise both classic and modern horror fans with a departure from prior films in the Halloween franchise. Audiences should brace themselves for unprecedented fear as Zombie turns back time to uncover the making of a pathologically disturbed, even cursed child name Michael Myers.”

Movie type: Horror - This is a far gorier and in-your-face remake of the more tame and suspenseful 1978 horror classic. Purists should steer clear, as should anyone sensitive to extreme violence, crass dialogue, and sexual content. Definitely not one for the kids.

Director: Rob Zombie

Starring: Tyler Mane (Michael Myers), Daeg Faerch (Michael Myers 10 years old), Malcolm McDowell (Dr. Samuel Loomis)
Length: 1 hr. 49 min.

Script: Rob Zombie, John Carpenter, Debra Hill

Reviews:

"Average Zombie's Halloween is more of a curiosity than a movie and is intended only for those to whom Michael is an indestructible icon. "Berardinelli, Internet Critic
