Hungarian Wildlife Photographer Wins Eric Hosking Award

Hungarian Wildlife Photographer Wins Eric Hosking Award
"The 22-year-old Hungarian Bence Máté has been presented the Eric Hosking Award as part of the Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition, organised by London's Natural History Museum and BBC Wildlife Magazine, and sponsored by Shell.

This year's Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition attracted some 32,000 submissions from 60 countries. Those competing for the Eric Hosking Award, named after the famous British wildlife photographer Eric Hosking, were required to submit a portfolio of six pictures that demonstrated a range of ability.

Máté has been an award winner at the Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition each year for the past seven years. He was named Young Nature Photographer of the Year in 2002, and he received the Eric Hosking Award in 2005.

Máté's winning portfolio can be seen in the album Nature Photographs of the Year 2007, to be available in Hungary soon."
