"On Tuesday 6 November 2007 the annual Smiling Hospital Foundation Grand Gala took place raising HUF 6.5 m for charity. Nearly 400 guests enjoyed the show with acrobats and magicians while having dinner in a splendidly decorated room at the Budapest Congress Center.The financial success was impressive, and will be spent for the salaries of artists who visit the sick children in the hospitals on a weekly basis. It will enable Smiling Hospital Foundation to visit seven childrens hospitals (or children' wards in general hospitals) for the duration of one full year.
The event main sponsors were Air France - KLM and the Accor Hotel Group. These wonderful sponsors made it possible for the guests to see and read more about the objectives of the Foundation (video and printed materials) and were a substantial help to increase revenues and to reduce the costs of the organisation.
