"The Budapest office of Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), the global real estate consultant was awarded "Best Real Estate Agency 2007" by the Construction Industry Journal (CIJ) at their Annual Dinner in Budapest last night.Charles Taylor, Managing Director of C&W's office in Budapest commented: "This is a fantastic achievement and I would like to thank our clients and our staff of more than 60 professionals for their efforts made during the year."
C&W received the "Best real estate agency" award for the second time since 2005, when the award was established. C&W is awarded in recognition of the outstanding service provided by a real estate agency in 2007, as voted by the Hungarian readers of CEE Construction & Investment Journal.
The CiJ Awards was launched by leading Central European real estate magazine, Construction and Investment Journal in 2005 in order to recognise excellence across the real estate sector including advisers, as well as developers, architects, investors and financial service providers.

· Sale of Campona shopping center on behalf of Compagnie Immobilière de Belgique
· Acquisition of Terrapark (building D) and Margit Palace on behalf of JP Morgan
· Acquisition of logistics portfolio on behalf of Standard Life Investments
· Leasing of Arena Plaza shopping mall on behalf of Plaza Centers
· Leasing of Market Central Ferihegy retail park on behalf of AIG/Lincoln
· Leasing of Millenáris Office Building on behalf of Wallis Real Estate
· Acquisition of office space in Duna Tower
· Acquisition of office space in Arena Corner
· Leasing of retail space in Vörösmarty Nr1 on behalf of ING Real Estate
During 2007 C&W added two new service lines, Project Management and Hotels.
