Flight Attendants Of The Year At Malév |
 "For the second year running Malév has announced its "Flight Attendants of the Year". The ten stewards and stewardesses considered to be the best the company has based on their activities over the past year were congratulated by Géza Fehérváry, the airline's deputy CEO, and Éva Molnár, head of the Flight Attendants Department.Those honoured with this award are entitled to wear a badge with the script "Flight Attendant of the Year" for the coming year.
In order to maintain and further develop the airline's onboard services, which have been awarded several international prizes in recognition of their high standard, Malév launched the flight attendant motivation programme in 2006. The essence of the programme is to assess the work of staff members serving on Malév flights not only through feedback from customers but also by calling for the opinions of colleagues. In the course of the in-house opinion poll Malév stewards and stewardesses can nominate a colleague(s) as being among the best in the fleet on the basis of professional criteria. Categories are based on position (trainer, manager and assigned flight attendant) and flown route (short- or long-haul)."
