'Animation On The Borderline Of Fine Art And Film'

'Animation On The Borderline Of Fine Art And Film'
"György Kovásznai was an outstanding talent of Hungarian fine art and animation. On the exhibition Hungarian artists appear in connection with the films of Kovásznay, they carry on the similar experimental work of animation in an autonomous spirit, on the borderline of fine art and film genres. - This exhibitian at Millenáris can be seen until 16 November.

This joint exhibition shows that the propagation of autonomous animated short films is no longer the profile of just cinemas and film reviews but also of the fine art scenery. The demand for continuing the avant-garde, the documentarism, the openness towards social and communal subjects, the experimental spirit mean the main connecting point between the films that appear on the exhibition."
